Comments:

The illustrations in this book are sure to capture any readers attention, with their bright, vibrant colors. Made from a college of tissue paper, they are filled with remarkable texture. The audience is sure to participate in this story as the words, “Slowly, Slowly, Slowly” are often repeated. A great vocabulary builder, as Carle uses a variety of synonyms for slow, quiet, and boring.(Ex. Lethargic) At the end of the book, all the animals that appear in the story are listed with their proper names. Very educational!
