Comments:

Ian Wallace does an excellent job incorporating language that is often not seen in picture books, such as meandered and donning. He tells a heartwarming story that is sure to appeal to readers interested in camping, exploration, and adventure. Wallace’s acrylic illustrations beautifully capture the scenery and give the reader a true outdoors feel with their effective use of lines, colors, and shading. The setting of this story is absolutely stunning, making the story that much more appealing.
