An alphabet book describing various activities that promote physical activity and healthy living.

Comments:

A welcome addition to any school or library, this book is an excellent promotion for physical activity. The language is simple and bold, making it very inviting for children to have ‘active conversations’ about the activities promoted throughout the book. The “I can spot…” sentences are very enjoyable and every child will like trying to locate the objects in the pictures. Anderson’s painted illustrations bring life to the text with her remarkable eye for detail and everyday interpretations. At the back of the book is the “ABCs of Active Living for Young Children” that provides suggestions and resources for teachers, parents, and caregivers.

Genre: NF (Non-fiction)
