Comments:

An important factor to note is that this book is on a list of controversial books for use in schools, so caution should be taken when deciding whether or not to use in the classroom. Robert Munsch uses very basic text to tell this hilarious tale. The plot is definitely something that every person can relate to one time or another in their life. Martchenko’s illustrations use toned downed colors, sending the message that Andrew’s mishaps are a common occurrence and nothing to get worked up over. However like all subjects, this one has limited appeal.

Genre: RF (Realistic Fiction)
Age Range: 3 – 7
